On behalf of all the members fo New Haven Church of God in Christ, I extend a warm welcom to you. We are glad that you have and or planning to worship with us and become a part of this body in Christ.

We invite you to enter in and "Worship the Lord in the Beauty of Holiness" as the Spirit leads, which is the biblical pattern. You are invited to take part in the church activities/functions and auxiliaries.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, for He said, "I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Our church is part of the Love and Unity District, which is under the Metropolitan Eccesiastical State Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Inc.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God.We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return. We believe that the only means of being cleansed form sin, is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water. We believe that the regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer. We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.We believe in the santifiying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world, Amen.

Our Beliefs - Who We Are

Our church is a community of believers with Jesus Christ as its head. We seek to love, respect and care for one another as a demonstration of our love for God.

Our outreach is to those who have no church home. Many in our area are disillusioned with religion. They have felt the sting of legalism with its impossible demands. Some have seen hypocrisy. Others have had no religious background and therefore see Christianity as irrelevant. The missing element has been healthy relationships with mature believers in Jesus.
